March 7th

The children enjoyed a wonderful day dressed as pirates.

They used their design and technology skills to make musical instruments and pirate accessories such as telescopes, eye patches, bracelets and cutlasses.

Using their orienteering skills they navigated around the school grounds 'avoiding crocodiles, hot lava and quick sand' to reach a cave where they found a map with co-ordinates that led them to hidden treasure.

To finish their exciting day children sang sea shanties accompanied by their new musical instruments.

Oh what fun although eating with a hook was not easy!
